Often, I sit and think of the years that have passed by
So much joy and happiness has been shared by you and I
You have a smile that lights up my life, beyond what can compare
I hope you know how much I'm here and how much I truly care
Listen closely with your heart and you'll hear
My love for you I've always tried to make crystal clear
You have a heart so compassionate, kind and true
When I need someone, I know I can count on you
I know how much you love me, as much as I love you
I hope each time you think of me, you'll know I miss you too
Praying it's just a short time that we're apart
I treasure every memory of you that's stored within my heart
This roller coaster of emotions is the worst ride of my life
It's as if my hearts been pierced by the sharpest knife
I feel lost and alone, I don't know what to do?

Being without you is the hardest part of all
