Romance Of The Vines And The Tower

Since moist on its ancient concrete bricks arouse the vines,
The tower stands erect to support the ambitious climbers
Who creep along its height-of-might in flirtatious twine,
Like that of Rapunzel's castle in the middle of the woods.
Romancing the circumference of the seductive architecture
To be home in their final kiss and permanent embrace,
Weak-stemmed, tendrilous floras create their spine.

So this is how a case of obsession turns magical -
A cemented cylinder, singular, with passion and purpose,
Stretches to the sky for the clinginess of the yearning vines.
Inseparable union, a honeymoon that lasts for decades,
Stands the test of time as an evidence of mutual love.
Crawl by crawl, kiss by kiss, intermingling to eternity -
Marriage of the vines & tower - fierce, fervent, vehement.
