Rome, Syndrome! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Rome, Syndrome!

Rage, enrage!
2-in-1;
Playing around with the red fruits of the Red valley.
May!
Mayflower,
Mayfair;
It is too dark over here!
So, put on the light before you come to me;
Then, i can see your face.
Rage, range!
Come, Rome, some, syndrome, chrome;
A flying horse!
You cyouldn't do the right thing because,
You were fighting.
Rome, syndrome!
With empty beer bottles under your table;
Like hot water in the middle of the sea.
A flying elephant!
Like Long Island's Express;
A flying ship!
Like the 'District Court Saket' in India;
But, just-in-time.
Loose, goose!
At the District Court;
The clash of the culture!
The clash of the system!
Living in slum;
Clash, crash! !
But, try to know what you want in this life and,
Work towards it till the sun shines on you.
One for all!
And, all in one;
Rome, syndrome!
But, all for one.
