Rose Garden - Poem by Heather Burns

I watched you in your
garden
roses growing every
where
flowers were so lovely
perfume filled the air

Touching them so
gently
creating a bouquet
tied with yellow
ribbons
so they would'nt blow
away

As I left the garden
on that summer day
I turned and looked
once more
then slowly walked
away

I admire your lovely
garden
so happy I would be
if I were the rosebud
you touched so
tenderly.
