The clouds are somber.
The skies are gray.
Yesterday feels so far away;
It hurts when you remember.

The moon is nowhere near,
And the stars all disappear.
Lightning flirts with fear,
But thunder is all you hear.

She went to kiss the moon,
And dance among the stars.
To a tender angelic tune;
Only meant for czars!

It took your heart by surprise;
No time to say goodbyes.
There are tears in your eyes,
But she smiles in paradise.

Today is filled with sorrow;
You are like a rose in rain,
But trust that tomorrow,
The sun will shine again.
