Roy Orbison Poem by Ray Hansell

Roy Orbison

Rating: 1.0

His voice was like liquid gold
As smooth as a pane of glass
Every time I heard him sing
He did so with such class

From the song, "Pretty Woman"
To "Handle Me With Care"
His voice rang out so true
It was always crystal clear

He was another singer
Taken from us far too young
Myself and many people believe
His best songs were left unsung

But thankfully with cd's and records
His voice will never be gone
We'll always hear his singing
As his memory lives on
