Chic women on the north shore
bedecked in mink and sable
diamond pendants dangling
from delicate earlobes
dressed au courant
from crown to dainty feet
shod in supple style
Like scornful queens escorted
by deferential help
they descend gilded staircases
to limos idling silkily
in driveways that circle
round palatial grounds
to disappear into glittering night!
O! how we envy their royal estate!

I would like to translate this poem
it seems to be a response to another piece I have read today about east side women... Women tend to be the same all over the world, so do men :) Excellent write...
