Rumors And Lies Poem by Randy McClave

People are posting rumors and lies
As if they are trying to win the, "Devil's Tongue" first prize,
They seemingly are doing their very best
As they go on a hate filled quest.
They post stories that are not truthful or real
They want to hurt and hurt and pain they want others to feel,
So, they listen and they read the gossip and the lies of others
Then they spread it, which is their druthers.
They spend most of their day
Not helping others and not to the Lord Jesus do they pray,
But, they spread hate and lies with every post
They don't care that it's seen and known by the Holy Ghost.
If there is someone out there that they don't agree with
About them they will google to find and spread a myth,
Then they will tell or post it as the proven truth
Remember, we will all be known by our fruit.
The Lord Jesus said to turn the other cheek
Seemingly though more likes is what they really seek,
They don't care about the lying posts that they sent
And they will never say they're sorry, or will ever repent.
They get no likes when they post Jesus's teachings
So they don't follow or adhere to Jesus's preachings,
They instead listen to another voice
And what they post, is that choice.
So, when today they type out and then post their scripture
Attacking or mocking or lying as their main feature,
Everyone is becoming a mocker and a liar
Facebook is becoming more like the, "National Enquirer".
