Running Down - The My Way Poem by sean north

Running Down - The My Way

Sometimes seems
your standing

Almost helplessly alone

Tumbling down
the stairways of

your snakes and ladder home

As laughter
turns to teardrops

That go spilling down your face

Your smiles
all slip away

And we get left without a trace

The lines
hey all get

bR0kEn

And the
crosswords all go

wRoNg

They always
play the news now

But they never play our song

When my feet
are on the dashboard

Of your new shiny 720 E

Catch myself
looking in Your m1rr0r

Wondering if this is all it's meant to be

This sky

that is filled with rainbows
And rain that's falling down

As we

running down the highway
Of another lost and lonely town
