Running Into Our Past Poem by Ray Hansell

Running Into Our Past

I saw her just yesterday
Oh, what a surprise
I could still see the sparkle
That twinkled in her eyes

I'd recognized that smile
As it spread across her face
I noticed her hair
For I could see a trace

Of the years that had gone by
And colored it grey
She still looked as pretty
As she did back in the day

We caught up on each other's life
We also shared a laugh
Some times it's very nice
Running into your past
