Running To Poem by Randy McClave

Running To

Whenever there was an issue
She would always grab a tissue,
Then she would run quickly to the internet
To post why she was upset.
She just stared at the screen so glary,
That's not the type of woman that I want to marry.

Whenever she cried there was a problem
She said that we couldn't solve them,
Then for help she ran to another man
Who she said and believed that he can.
As she spoke to Andy, Rex, Rick or Jerry,
That's not the type of woman that I want to marry.

Whenever there was a concern
From any problem she would adjourn,
She would run off to one of the girls
Whose wisdom she believed were like pearls.
Whether she spoke to Lyndsay, Cindy, Sue or Terri,
That's not the type of woman that I want to marry.

Whenever there was a matter
Whenever she got depressed and sadder,
She went away nearby or abroad
She always sought out others, but never God.
The woman who runs to the Lord God instead,
That's the type of woman that I want to wed.
