Rusted Tale Poem by Aminath Neena

Rusted Tale

Rating: 5.0

You reign as king of the topaz sky
Smiling behind violet streams
Where hazy foliage glides by
In cloudless pink dreams

With absolute contentment
Of joy's never apart
And Life's fulfillment
Of a pretty sweetheart

With frills and silky lace
And chocolate birthday tales
Of multiple offspring phase
Enjoying the melody of nightingales

With laughter and mirth
Awaiting pattering feet
In a short while of birth
To play hopscotch on the tiled street

Your world is perfect
And in your perfect little world
There is no concept
For our rusted tale twofold
