Ruthless World Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Ruthless World

Rating: 5.0

The baby was crying in an abandoned ditch,
He had been there since early morning,
Nobody knew how he had arrived,
The newborn was crying bitterly,
People peeped and went away indifferently,
No affectionate mother came to take the deserted baby in her secure lap,
The baby was crying and crying...........
With his childish and innocent gestures it seemed he was asking the ruthless world,
"What's my sin? "
But it went to the deaf ears,
Nobodyanswered,
Gradually being tired and frustrated the baby stopped crying,
Eventually he became silent, completely silent;
The heinous devil laughed aside.
