Sacrifice Poem by Moth Harris

Sacrifice

Light blue chills run down my spine,
spinning, mixing, our whispers intertwine.
I cast a shadow, you cast light.
I have freedom, a slave of the fight.
It's never ending this temporary war.
It's been so long, what's it for?
If we were left lost and 'lone,
would anyone have known,
I died for you?
