Sad Inner Emotions, Because Of Hurricane Matthew Poem by Hebert Logerie

Sad Inner Emotions, Because Of Hurricane Matthew

Tears are not enough to express our inner emotions
After our people and friends have been massacred
By the deadly waves and suffocated winds of Matthew
A hurricane which came from nowhere to destroy sacred
Lives, and any standing or moving objects on his horizon
Another deadly tragedy is mauling and hurting Haiti. Few
Houses are standing, after being battered by incredible curses
Countless questions are driving us berserk and crazy
Where do we from here? What do we do now?
We are coming up with hollow solutions and excuses
Which can only hurt us more in the future. How
Do we improve our situation? This is strange and eerie
Where was God to protect us and to stop this nonsense?
Our politicians are crooked and stupid, what do we do
With them? We cannot really trust many organizations
And powerful countries? They have insulted our intelligence
In the past. Even the United Nations, considered to be taboo
Have been responsible of infecting our people with deadly poisons
And maladies which remain undetected. Haiti, once, the best
Of the Antilles, is now the worst, poorest, dirtiest and strangest
Place to visit. Haitians are constantly been insulted and assaulted
Tears and poems can't adequately expressed our outrage and convoluted
Inner feelings and emotions. Where do we go from here? What do we
Do in the future? In the meantime, we are weeping and damning Matthew.

P.S. Oops! I made a monumental mistake, I don't like to remember names, instead of Matthew, I originally wrote Andrew. Please never hesitate to correct the Poet. I love being corrected, that's the best way that I learn.
