Sad Rocks - Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The waters lap
The waters lap the rocks
The sad rocks.

I see apartments,
Shops, lands and
More
All sinking.
In the damned waters
Before my eyes
They be sinking.

There’s fear too now
Add
To suffering.
I will not look.
I will my eyes
Close.
The waters lap
The waters lap the rocks
The sad rocks.
