Safety First Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Safety First

This isn't a poem ~ as great poems go...
But a little advice to cope in the snow.
I drove out this morning in ice-cold weather,
The main roads were clear ~ a noble endeavour.
But as I walked over the car park ground
My shoe soles were 'dangerously' ice-bound,
Delaying my departure...oh feeling of woe!
The motto haunts me yet, and deserves a star.
*Always carry spare shoes in your motorcar*

Lol. Thanks for the advice. It is better safe than sorry.
