Sahara Poem by Jeremy Willson

Sahara

It's been too long since I've laid down next to someone
Holding them in my arms as they dream
Of purple lilacs and an open field of poppies
It seems almost as dreamy
As being able to kiss upon their neck
Whispering in their ear sweet things
So honey pours out
And so does lust
Under warm covers
And warmer touches
Caressing their skin
A feather curling their toes
Wimpers of pleasure like rain
Satisfy the lonely desert,
I am the Sahara.
