Said The Poet Seer Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Said The Poet Seer

Said the Prophet Seer:

The earth be trembling
And the waters rising.
My language simple
But events be terrible.

Said the Prophet Seer:

Hear me
Hear me crowd
I see the fading
Over the horizon
Far
I see the fading

Said the Prophet Seer:

Why be you mute o crowd?
Have my words shocked you?
Then to the occasion
I want arise you
That no harm reach you
For life be precious
And precious be for saving
So closes the syllogism -
Life be for saving.
