Transparent Poem by Arstus W.

Transparent

Aimlessly wandering is all that I can do,
I have no goal nor destination,
The place that will accept me is somewhere,
A place where I am seen.

No one ever notices my presence,
It's like people see right through me,
As though I don't even exist,
This feeling of transparency is my curse.

Oh how I long to be freed from my shackles,
To be able to have someone to call a friend,
Someone to see me,
Someone to make me feel alive.

I wander to find a place to call home,
The journey may be long,
But it's a journey I must take,
To find the place that will free me from my cursed life.
