I like salt in my coffee and sugar in my tea,
It's a quirky little habit, as odd as can be.
While others may scoff and wrinkle their nose,
I find joy in the peculiar, that's just how it goes.
When morning arrives and the sun starts to rise,
I reach for my mug, much to their surprise.
For in it I stir, not cream or milk,
But a pinch of salt, smooth as silk.
The taste is unique, a savory delight,
A morning sensation, a peculiar sight.
And when it's time for my afternoon tea,
It's sugar I crave, as sweet as can be.
A teaspoon or two, to make it just right,
A sugary infusion, a pure delight.
So while others may stick to the norm,
I'll savor my oddities, in their true form.
For life's too short to be ordinary, you see,
I'll keep salt in my coffee and sugar in my tea.
