Same Old Poem by Rachel Flint

Same Old

Whether fought with swords,
Cannons or tanks
War still has no winners

Whether roman senators
Victorian Tories
Or Bill Clinton
Politicians are always corrupt

Be it Black Death
Smallpox or Aids
Illness still brings us
To our knees

Be it Wilberforce
Dickens or Geldoff
People have always
Called for change

Maybe tomorrow is their day

Different day, same old story. So true! Thanks.
