Sand Dunes Poem by Meny Alonso

Sand Dunes

Rating: 4.3

Lying in crisp cool whiteness
Lulled by soft whispers of stories past
No longer one but two lost in pale vastness
Luminous in the moonlight

Lure me in leave me there
Hold me down as I surrender
Unseeing removed suspended
In a single moment endless

Playing soft chords in me
Enveloped in notes lifted by hands
Dissipated melted under the weight of you
No longer one but two
