You are on fire with your poetry lately Fay such a joy to read 10 ++++ Chris
Fay, I am reminded of two poems relating similar theme that I read long ago: 1. Leisure by W. H. Devies: What is this life if, full of care, . We have no time to stand stare? 2. Ode to Skylark by Shelley: We look before and after And pine for what is not The third one from Wordsworth also flased across my mind justnow: The world is too much with us late or soon, Getting and spending we lay waste our powers, Little we see in Nature that is ours, We have given our hearts away a sordid boon. Your concern with increasing materialism and rat race for money is really genuine. Wealth which is a means to happiness in life has largely become the end and humanity and enjoyment have been lost. We blindfolded run around wealth like a bull circuling around the oil expellar. Wonderful poem and superb artistry. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks for sharing. CP
Time is never ending, Time always advances, time heals all, time before our eyes dances..Nice one Fay. Sid.xxx
Excellent mesage to us all here...great poem Fay...thank you...Fi
