Sands Of Time Poem by Jeffrey Adegor

Sands Of Time

Rating: 2.8

The King's castle by the beach
With a tiny red flag over it
Forged by the hands of happiness
And the feet of joyous thoughts
.
The mountains in the desert
Precious, diamonds in the rough
Under the skin of colours
The world has more than enough
.
On the home of poverty
On pieces of gold, i lay
Gold in my spoon and in my food
Gold water i drink
.
Six feet in the walkway of life
I'll lay down at the end of my life
Having touched all the golds of life
Footprints left on the sands of time
