Saturation - Poem by Shamik Kumar Bose

I see the Swimming Pool bereft of blue water
Lying like a whore
Out of business for a long time,
ruminating remorsely,
for an old customer
to dive into her skeletons,
sucking the remaining in her bones;
Now her age has saturated
She looks vacuous
Like her empty wishes
Empty dreams

I see the Swimming Pool bereft of blue water.

    True, saturated age looks like her empty wishes with empty dreams! A nice
    contrast between saturation and emptiness! 10!
    Years back, in a semi-drained out swimming pool, without checking, an young
    Defence Officer had dived! His head took the impact and he became paralised for rest of his life! The Govt had allotted a petrol pump to him! I had known him!
    Does it sound suprising? !
