Savant Poem by Aj Anwar

Savant

they are so young so talented
what the older do they do better
they skip the adage of age and wisdom
they set for higher benchmarks

the young now is no longer innocent
they don't drag out in playful tender ages
they are tech savvy, restless breeds
they are the wiser leading the future

they are ducklings floating in the pond after hatching
they are baby horses, foals trotting the grass upon birth
they are new generations by nature necessities

for tougher life ahead on Earth, be prepared
they are born savants not for the fun of it
but the sins of the elder, our sins the older
