The Summary Of Rain Poem by Aj Anwar

The Summary Of Rain

Rating: 4.4

if it is about rain
the case you want to raise
suffice it to whisper ‘water' to my ear
chanting about the ocean or hurricane unneeded
let alone the wrath of heaven
for it would probably speak to me more
if you call on the yearning heart
a spatial multiplier between heavy clouds
and the dry cracked land
waiting for the wet descends

[Translated from the Indonesian version]

RINGKASAN HUJAN

kalau itu hujan
yang ingin kau katakan
cukup bisiki aku ‘air'
tak perlu lautan atau badai
apalagi angkara dewa-dewa langit
mungkin akan lebih kena di hatiku
kalau kau katakan soal rindu
perkalian jarak antara segumpal mendung
dan tanah gersang yang merekah
menunggu jatuhnya basah

God speaks through the nature we can listen to God and respond. When we respond to the beauty of nature we respond to God. Rains add music to the song of nature.

Very well put dear friend, very true. Our words are only so minuscule in the effort to interpret nature.
