Save Me From Myself Poem by Hannah Diane Williams

Save Me From Myself

The demon that once possesed my soul
Has left me here alone
Fighting the urge
That comes from within
My darkened soul,
Full of guilt,
Mixed with pain...
God's forgiven me,
Why can't I forgive myself?
Why do hurtful words,
Coming from the mouth
Of mindless idiots,
Cut so deep?
Why does it hurt to feel left out?
Why are their evil looks
Tossed my way
Every day of my life?
What I do to them?
Why am I unable to speak?
Why am I such a freak?
