Saved From Myself - Poem by Ray Hansell

I stayed awake all through the night
Just staring at you
I laid there thinking to myself
You’ve made my life so new

You came along
When things were wrong
You stayed with me
You made us strong

Looking back
I can now see
That it was you
Who saved me

You saved me from myself
You showed me what love could do
Now everything that I am
I owe it all to you
