I lived on the edge of darkness
But than you came along
With all my empty feelings
You still made me feel like I belonged

My heart has been torn and broken
My faith all but disappeared
For so many years
I wanted no one near

But than out of no where
You suddenly appeared
Now you're the only one I want
To always be near

I'll walk away from my past
Leave my ghosts far behind
Because now that you are here
You are the one I hoped to find
