Saxon Days (For Eleanor) - Poem by Richard Theze

Those Saxon days,
Such history,
Long past,
Is captured there -
Ours to remember;
To regret
The passing
Of shared time
And space.
A connection
Missed;
The desire
For inner Knowledge
Concealed;
Not either
Trusting to speak,
Or confirm
A lesson,
Much later
Learned.
