News is up in air
-on sons of Joe Biden
-One dating widow of brother

Some call it scandal!

I listen and stare at Bible
- Genesis thirty eight
-eleven to thirty and Tamar's story
-be widow till Shelah grows up
-said Judah to widow of his son
-brother can and must marry the
-widow of brother

Scandal?
I question
-what a change!

Taliban and ISIS
- are Jewish in culture
-marry the widows
-of brothers...

Then read of King David
-and Amnon
-raped sister; own sister
-I recall Virginia Woolf
-the writer

Amnon half-brother
-lured her to his room
-and raped her
-and Amnon rejected
-to marry his own sister
-Tamar was disgraced
-permanent, for ever
-Tamar is described
