Scarecrow Poem by Stefanie Fontker

Scarecrow

You watch all, eyeless,
This is more than insomnia.
Standing straight,
Arms spread wide,
Sneering at the plants
That embrace you from behind.
Stabbing at the crows,
That long to love you.
Where is your heart?
