Oh how hard it is to let go
Why can’t I slip away?
Can you give me permission
To move onto another life?
To leave this scorching hell
In which I have burned
My heart and soul scarred
By life and love

I’m so alnoe…
Alone in the dark again
This is all I have
I cling to the pain
It’s my only link to life
Without despair, I fall
With despair, I fall too
There’s no way out

How can tears be so powerful?
How can bloodshed be so normal?
Why does life try so hard
To stop me from leaving?
But even good things and happy memories
Can’t save me now
No, I’m too far gone
Too close to death…
