Do you love with your scarred heart?
I tried to take us back to the start...

Remember the feeling?

I'm on your side
as we fall against the tide.

Waves of time fall one by one
viciously crashing
gently washing
over everyone

You're on my side
holding my arm close
watching the world
as our love grows

Remember my pulse
I often dream of yours

Remember my looks
I can't help my vanity

Remember my loyalty
I had your chastity

Everything changed
not always for the best

Sleeping together
put our weary souls to rest

Do you love with your scarred heart?
