Scatterin Leaves Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Scatterin Leaves

Rolling, topsy-turvy, over the heated pavement,
looking for some coolness beneath a shady tree.

Crackling, hanging it's head, just as it finds
a needed shadow of shade, the wind picks it up
and blows it away, back out into the sun.
