Screaming For Help Poem by hema thasapalan

Screaming For Help

Sometimes the pain of living
Overcomes,
Overpowers,
Overwhelms,
You bend under the “weight”
You crawl and struggle
You are still alive
You still have energy to scream
To scream for help from the divine father and mother
While still screaming, you do not realize they have helped
You are slowly standing up straight
The pain is easing…
You can stop screaming, for to continue
You deny yourself from learning,
From seeing the favours, the help, the guidance,
You cannot see the changes happening
You cannot see the light ahead
So scream once, and stop
Have faith, the help will come,
Open your heart,
Always look to the light
