Screwed Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Screwed

we live a life that is monopolized
it's just that easy to commercialize
we live a life that has been trivialized
and it's one that many have despised
if love was real, it wouldn't be forced
the hate's so fueled it lights a torch
though competition is often seen as sport
so far off track, we've fell off course
because of those who are responsible
don't even hold themselves accountable
they've become speechless and insensible
they think about abusing the pink between your thighs.
snakes leak poison when it bites
past crimes, present times, the future can't kill
what would make humanity for generations so very ill
and there is no void, not any that you can fill
the horror of the past is a nightmare that's real
and it doesn't seem to affect those that is until
we're administering medication of this specific pill
and we have been hung
felt whips that were swung
no man is quite equal, it's so evident
and this same issue is still relevant
rape, babies
house or fields is where you'll place these
Don't you dare
say that pain is over
when the gas still fuels the motor
don't you dare
say you're scared when using guns
because to you it's all in fun
see, when you have control
you know control is power
and with power comes control
you abuse me when my words are few
see, when you have control
you know control is power
and with power comes control
crimes of the past is under world review
