Then ruled religions and now nations;
Then scriptures, now constitutions;
Scriptures and constitutions to guide;
They turned custodians into authority.
The authority overpowers the truth.
Truth suffers; authority becomes truth.
People find no ways to come out.
Authority finds ways to fence them.
