Sea Dream Poem by Teedy Dawn

Sea Dream

I dreamt I slept by the sea,
I slept before the howling wind
Amidst the screaming gulls and thunderous waves.
I felt the salt spray stroke my lips
And heard echoes from deep, distant caves.
I knew the sand beneath my fingers and sensed the piercing shadow of disquieting cliffs.
I chose not to stir, but slept in peace, held by the whispering sea.
