Sea Of Tranquility Poem by Valerie Dohren

Somewhere, I deem there is a place
where solitude is embraced by calm reflection
where the still waters of silence lap upon
the golden shores of mindfulness
invoking a sense of wellbeing.

Somewhere, I deem there is a place
where the moon drips her light
down to earth, as pearls cast from heaven,
to illuminate the dark corners of my soul
giving rise to a time of peace and revelation.

Somewhere, there is a sea of tranquility
in which my consciousness may be immersed
and lost in in the boundlessness of the cosmos -
merging with all that is and all that ever will be
forever united with infinity.
