Sea-Shells (Brevity) Poem by Dr John Celes

Sea-Shells (Brevity)

Sea-shells say a story
Of birth under the sea,
In Nature’s lap wholly,
God-blessed simplicity.

What shapes and hues are born!
What sizes drift each morn!
Each housed a creature small,
That sea-waves could not stall,
But just held all.
