I envy the sky
For having the moon;
For having the expanse
That I can’t explore;
And for having sealed
The way to the other world
That I need to visit;
When I think of her lying
On the floor soaked
With tears and gazing at
The ceiling in the mirror;
I wish the stars should shine
Brighter and engulf the moon;
And I can’t catch her shadow
Stuck to the wall when the earth
Receives the light of the gloaming.

Lovely poem of some contrast and dramatic effects. I am closing my eyes and trying to touch the complexity of emotions behind this poem. That is what a good poem demands from us even if we can’t comprehend it fully.
