Seasons Of Love Poem by Edwina Reizer

Seasons Of Love

Rating: 4.0

Winter, spring, summer or fall.
Every season that comes to call
is new and exciting when I'm with you.
We find so many things to do.

You brush the snowflakes from my face
and keep me warm as we embrace.
And as we sit by the fireplace
we welcome wintertime.

You bring me wildflowers in the spring.
We sit and listen to bluebirds sing.
And as I look at my wedding ring
I'm so glad you're mine.

You take me where the sea birds are,
down at the beach where we see so far
and as we look at an evening star
we exalt in summertime.

You save some time for me each day
as the leaves on the trees are falling away.
You walk with me and I hear you say,
'These colors are sublime.'

Every time of the year is ours
as we live through all of its hours.
The changing seasons and its powers
brings our love a grand design.
