Second Coming Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Second Coming

Rating: 5.0

Sadness as blue as a funeral
Do you see a heart who wants out
Tired and barely real
Just going through the hoops
Art even seems distant
Even your kiss diminishes
Sometimes joy seems like a star
Pray for me my friends
There is work to be done
Only the second coming makes me stay
