A watchful eye that drifted over the room
Looking closely at one's imperfections
Fearful that one might outshine
Hidden under that egotistic house

That once, the sun radiates its beauty
The binds that hold down the soul
Held under tears
Shunned from what was of glory

Trust that was honored, broken.
Like a mirror, that showed only bitterness
A dropp of tears that fell to its fate
The free bird caged away

My mask slipped, I am afraid
For the vulnerable side is revealed
As known, will you take the weakness?
Hiding my true heart from the sorrow
