Secrets Poem by Prince ....

The silence around me thickens
like a stir of mist
secrets hiding in the walls
never to give in
blood, roar, and rage
all pulled into one
never to be undone
the hair black as ebony
the stars full of light
reflection on the water
from that horrid night
scars, blood and bruised
never to fade
their here to remind me
to never let stay
secrets, pain, remorse,
blood, shadows, tears
all of these are hidden
in our darkest fears
though they shall not listen
they will always know
the way to someones heart
is hidden down below
