Seduced By A Dream Poem by Sven Rhoads

Seduced By A Dream

She comes to me through the darkest shades
The angelic voice that leads me away
The wilderness that has become my mind
I hear you calling, one day you I will find

Too long I felt that there is no one out there
Only a sick delusion trapped in my head
But now I've throw out all of my care
As the rivers flow and wash me away

Her smile becomes the light in the dark
A long tunnel I'm in racing like the beat of a heart
But no matter how much my feet carry me
The other side of light I cant come to see

Too long I've walked this concrete earth
Cold as a stone that's sown deep within
But tiny leaves have come through the cracks
The winds whisper of the woman in black

And I've collected the ashes of a long time past
Sifting the ruins for just only a single spark
Searching horizons that tomorrow will cast
Somewhere you are deep in my heart
And I've walked for miles that seem the same
Like Celtic knots, they never come to end
For the wanderer now bare my own name
Just to see what the river will come to send
