I watch her play
She plays happily
Not knowing about
What's going to happen tomorrow
Blissfully unaware of the fact
That this world
That she knows
Is crumbling around her
I wish we could all be
Just like Emily
Innocent and carefree
Not worry about anything
That comes her way
So if you ever
Come to my town
And you see a sweet girl
Playing happily alone
Unaware of the problems
That surrounds her
That girls name is Emily
So just stop
Watch her play
And think why
We can't be like that
For once in our lives
